Regional Improvement in Standards and Excellence (RISE) aims to break the link between young people’s backgrounds and their future success.
This week, we have been able to secure funding and support through this initiative to enhance the School Improvement Plan at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School in Wellingborough.

Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, graded ‘Good’ by the Catholic Inspectorates Report in July 2023, is a safe and happy school at the heart of the local area, and steeped in history having served education to the local Wellingborough community since 1888!

They learn how to keep themselves physically and mentally healthy. They learn how to stay safe online. Pupils respect and value different communities in society. Under a new and ambitious leadership team, and with the support of the OLICAT Schools trust, the school is on a positive and clear journey of improvement, focusing on embedding the updated curriculum and behaviour strategies, as was recognised in last year’s OFSTED inspection. The RISE programme will help to strengthen this implementation.
